This is a site dedicated to the savvy shopper.  Right now our country is in a complete state
of disarray economically, there are people protesting on Wall Street, people
losing their homes and people who just can’t find a job.

With this site I will be putting up any info I find that can
be helpful to people who are trying to save money and cut corners during this
horrible recession.  Be it getting help
with debt relief or help finding a great medium to help your business advertise.  If I find it you can bet it will be put up
here.

Right now we simply do not have enough time to find all the
good deals by one’s self so any help is always welcome. I will regularly post
articles here on all sorts of topics and how they can help you save money.

I’d like to start with one subject that can help people out
a whole lot and that’s credit repair!
Credit repair is something that can save you tens of thousands in the
long run.  Just a few percentage points
difference on a loan can equate to thousands in the long run, and folks with
bad credit don’t get good rates!

Fix Your Credit History With These Tips

In today’s society, it is difficult to move ahead in some
areas when you have a bad credit rating. From rental property applications to
wanting to buy a new high definition television on credit, a good credit rating
is needed.  If your credit rating is less
than stellar due to past mistakes, following are some tips that may enable you
to repair your rating back into good standing.

When you need to repair your credit, make sure you keep
using some credit. That is, don’t let your credit status go inactive because
you aren’t making any payments on anything. To re-establish your credit you
need to keep making payments on time, which will change your credit rating
faster than not making payments at all.

So you are looking for professional help in repairing your
credit and wish to seek the services of an ethical company.  There are certain signs that warn you that a
company is probably one you do not wish to use.
If a prospective company does not inform you of your rights and things
you can do for yourself for free to repair your credit, they are probably not
want that you wish to hire.

If you want to improve your credit score, you can try
requesting a higher credit limit. If you have a higher credit limit but avoid
charging more to your cards than you usually would, your debt to available
credit ratio will be decreased. However, don’t request this for too many
creditors at once, as it may appear that you’re grasping for new credit.

One of the best things that can do around your house, which
takes very little effort, is to shut off all of the lights when you go to
bed.  This will help to save a lot of
money on your energy bill during the year, putting more money in your pocket
for other expenses.

An important tip to consider when working to repair your
credit is to make sure you exhaust all possible resources before considering
bankruptcy.  This is important because
bankruptcy will remain on your report for 10 years and is extremely hard to
come back from.  Always consult with a
credit counselor beforehand.

When trying to repair your credit, it is important to know
you are entitled to a no-cost credit report from each of the three U.S.
consumer reporting companies.  Annually,
Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion are legally required to give you a
complimentary copy of your credit report, if you request one.  Each of these three companies has a website,
a mailing address, and a toll-free telephone number which can be used to ask
for a free annual report.

Generally, it is not a good idea to wipe old accounts off
your credit report.  The reason is if you
are applying for an auto loan or a mortgage, or another type of loan, you will
need to show that you have had credit in the past, so the old accounts will
come in handy.  About 15% of your credit
score reflects the length of your credit history.

Following the tips above should enable you to repair your
credit rating back into good standing. Should further advice be required then
it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a financial adviser. Dealing
with credit rating issues sooner than later will eliminate a long term issue
when you need credit the most.

Great Deals On Good Wine!  Who Dosen’t Need A Good Drink During Such Troubled Times?

Do you want a fun and interesting experience all year around?  Unlike many other Christmas gifts, a wine of the month club doesn’t stop the first time you open the package.  Instead, month after month a different selection of wines are delivered.  Wines typically come from either one geographical area, or are focused on a single wine varietal.  Pinot Noir, after the movie Sideways seems to be an especially popular choice.  Like anything else you purchase online though, reading customer reviews and trying to ascertain the quality of the wine is incredibly important when you’re set to join a wine of the month club for the first time.

Save Money With Quality Inexpensive Gift Baskets For This Holiday Season

Every day there are thousands of gift baskets sold at malls and online across the world.  The small problem for consumers is that most of these gift baskets are incredibly over priced considering that the products which are included are available locally.  I mean, what’s exactly the point of paying an extra $50 for a gift basket if the products are available at your local grocery store?  Personally, my budget is too tight to pay that premium in this bad economy!  Instead I look for local retailers, or sometimes I even go through the trouble of putting a gift basket together myself!

California Debt Relief Aide

Recently the great state of California is pretty upside down when it comes to debt both on a governmental and consumer level.  The consumers have heavily indebted with credit cards making many California Debt Consolidation Programs much more viable options for such overburdened consumers.  Another state that is greatly affected right now is Florida! Many florida debt consolidation companies were once considered to be scams but after the FTC stepped in and banned upfront fees you can actually find many legitimate companies to work with in this state.
